BMW has revealed its new i8 petrol-electric range-extender supercar will cost from £99,895 – and dealers are already taking pre-orders for the 155mph, 113mpg coupe. The high-performance i8 will be the second BMW i car to go on sale, following the launch of the i3 electric city car which goes on sale in BMW dealers this weekend. The Lamborghini Huracan has one hell of a mission ahead of it. The Huracan will compete for bedroom wall real estate – and for £175k exotica buyers – with rivals like the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 12C, Porsche 911 Turbo S and the new Honda NSX hybrid.
Porsche has revealed the 2010 911 Turbo S - sales start May. Porsche has a habit of sticking the ‘S’ badge on the back of its Turbo cars as a Special Edition or run-out model. It did it with 993 and 996 911s, but this time the 997 Porsche 911 Turbo S is to be a stand-alone model at the top of the 911 tree.
